Halloween Horror

  It's that time of year when I temporarily focus on horror novels. Bring on the Stephen King books. Not only do I like a bit of horror reading at Halloween, but I also love the horror movies. A mixture of classics and new, here are my top five Halloween movies to watch this spooky October.  Halloween I mean, come on. It does exactly what it says on the tin. How can you not watch Halloween on Halloween? It's a 1978 classic, starring Jamie Lee Curtis, who is just fabulous in everything she's in, and none more so than when she's escaping Michael Myers. It's a must-watch. Insidious It's got monsters, it's got The Further, it's got a fantastic cast that includes the amazing Lin Shay as Elise. (Reason to watch it right there.)
