Halloween Horror
It's that time of year when I temporarily focus on horror novels. Bring on the Stephen King books. Not only do I like a bit of horror reading at Halloween, but I also love the horror movies. A mixture of classics and new, here are my top five Halloween movies to watch this spooky October. Halloween I mean, come on. It does exactly what it says on the tin. How can you not watch Halloween on Halloween? It's a 1978 classic, starring Jamie Lee Curtis, who is just fabulous in everything she's in, and none more so than when she's escaping Michael Myers. It's a must-watch. Insidious It's got monsters, it's got The Further, it's got a fantastic cast that includes the amazing Lin Shay as Elise. (Reason to watch it right there.) And it's got great sequels too, so you can watch the creepiest ghosts for hours.
