End of Year
We are into the penultimate month of the year now, and the question is as a writer, do I work hard to finish strong, or take it easy and start fresh in 2025?
Freelance or Fiction
I've done a little writing, mostly fiction, because my methods of writing have been notebook and pen or pencil. I've not been on my laptop as much, which is a vital piece of equipment when it comes to research, so fiction is the route I've taken, but over the next few months, I'm dusting off the computer and aiming to foray into the freelance world again.
That's the plan, anyway.
But I love fiction, and Finding Shadows is still looking for a home, so I'm on another round of edits for that.
November and December
This is my baby's first Christmas, so I'm going to be focused on that. I love Christmas, and I get very excited, and with my little guy on the move, there's a lot I want to do with him. There's house stuff to do, to get ready for Christmas decorations, there's writing to do, and I'm a crafter so there's things to make.
Christmas Christmas Christmas. I'm very excited. Not to mention my little furbaby Lia loves Christmas. She has her sack of toys to dig through.
2024: The End
This has been an amazing year. January brought me my little guy, and it's been wonderful chaos since then, so there is a part of me that is sad to say goodbye to 2024 but I'm excited to see what is to come with Benjamin and with writing.
