Ducks in a Row

There are times when everything feels a little bit chaotic. The landscape of life is a maze, and it's difficult to find the right route. I've got unfinished projects all over the place, and I've reached a point where I can't take on any other writing projects until I've cleared the metaphorical hedges. I'm a mother and a furbaby mother, which is always the most important, and it means time management is integral to getting anything done.

Work and Hobbies

I like too many things. Reading, writing, sewing, knitting, diamond painting. They're all really fun. Additionally, I have a day job and I'm planning to take on a course in a new field. All while earning extra income through transcription and content writing.

It's overwhelming to say the least.

Obviously, writing is my true love when it comes to a career. I love the words and the stories, I love learning for whatever I'm working on. But it's not all I'm about, and everybody needs to do something that's just for the fun of it.

Getting Organised

Organisation is not one of my strong points. In fact, it's a great big weakness. I'm messy and lazy, and as much as I love a good to-do list, doing the stuff on it isn't quite as fun. It's probably a fair explanation for why I have so many unfinished projects. Now, to get everything done, I'm writing the ultimate to-do list.

Life is a business, and I need to be professional about it. I'll start by finishing my diamond art coasters. Hey, coasters are important.

To-Do

Important questions: Do I write bullet points or numbers? Do I make the list on paper or on my phone? Do I write it straight down or in categories? Whatever is easiest. Let's not make writing a to-do list another unfinished project.
